Annotation
The article shows main methods and means of monitoring the technical condition of DC propulsion motors, which are currently in service of the Russian Navy. Analysis reasons of downgrading the level of DC propulsion motors technical condition as the result of outer factors, wrong actions military personnel, industrial, factorial, operational failures certain parts and elements. The defect examples of parts and elements, which are most evident in simulation of DC propulsion motors work, are shown. New ways in researches of increasing the technical diagnostic ship power engines effectiveness are shown. The prospects of the transition to preventive diagnostic are shown, ways of introducing new methods are algorithms of technical the functionality of vibration diagnostic methods are proposed.
